Shen Jinchen is involved in a car accident and violently dragged out of the car by Zhou Yuxuan. Zhou Yuxuan taunts Shen Jinchen with his grandmother's heirloom, a "peace buckle," and reveals that Zhou Xitong has been treating Shen Jinchen as an "ATM" to support Zhou Yuxuan. He then smashes the peace buckle in front of Shen Jinchen, who angrily accuses Zhou Yuxuan of selling his sister for personal gain. Upon Zhou Xitong's arrival, Zhou Yuxuan immediately feigns innocence, pretending to be the victim and begging for mercy. Blindly doting on her brother, Zhou Xitong ignores Shen Jinchen's injuries and blames him for trying to kill Zhou Yuxuan. She even dismissively calls Shen Jinchen's grandmother's heirloom "broken jade," completely chilling Shen Jinchen.
