This episode opens with the Crown Prince gravely ill with a high fever. In a moment of desperation, Empress Aunt urges Wen Xinyue to use the signal fireworks gifted by General Huo to summon the imperial guards for rescue. However, Wen Xinyue, possessing memories of her past life, recalls the tragedy of her previous existence: lighting the fireworks not only failed to summon help but instead attracted the hostile Moon Tribe, leading to Empress Aunt's tragic death while protecting the Crown Prince. Wen Xinyue herself was then framed as a Moon Tribe spy, enduring immense torment in the imperial prison and nearly suffering a miscarriage. To prevent history from repeating itself, the reborn Wen Xinyue resolutely refuses to use the fireworks and throws them to the ground. This act leaves Empress Aunt utterly shocked, sowing the seeds of conflict for future plot developments.
