Plot of Episode 9
When Emily Smith was five months pregnant, Olivia Johnson, the childhood sweetheart of her husband General William Smith, lured the Moon Tribes to raid the palace with the intention of having them rape and kill Emily. However, Olivia was mistaken for the general's wife and brutally assaulted and killed by the tribesmen. With her last breath, Olivia framed Emily for the attack. Believing the blood message left by Olivia, William mistakenly thought Emily had colluded with the Moon Tribes to cause Olivia's death. He dispatched a Moon Tribe war criminal to torture the six-month pregnant Emily, leading to her miscarriage. Consumed by despair, Emily died—but awoke to find herself back on the day of the palace raid. Determined to avoid repeating the past, Emily vows to find a patron, protect Empress Elizabeth (her aunt), and prove her innocence.
