The female protagonist, Wen Xinyue, returns in a disheveled state and encounters General Huo Ming. Her rival, Qu Siying, cleverly frames her in public, implying that Wen Xinyue, to gain Huo Ming's sympathy, used a military horn to lure in the hostile Yue Clan, leading to the death of Deputy General Li, who was coming to assist. Huo Ming and his subordinates, Cangshan and Yebai, believe the accusations and verbally abuse Wen Xinyue. Pushed by Huo Ming, the pregnant Wen Xinyue painfully collapses to the ground, only to be denounced by Huo Ming as a wicked woman faking it with her child.
