Plot of Episode 2

Han Chan, a survivor of the Beimang tribe, ventures into the mysterious Ghost Manor in search of her sister, only to discover its master is the second prince, Ye Gucen. Through flashbacks, it's revealed that Ye Gucen is the enemy who slaughtered her entire tribe two years prior. Holding Han Chan's sister Yan'er hostage, Ye Gucen forces her to undertake a mission: infiltrate the manor of his political rival, the third prince Ning Wang Ye Huaijin. Han Chan must use her Beimang identity to approach and seduce Ye Huaijin, thus aiding Ye Gucen in his bid for the throne. Under the threat of her sister's life, Han Chan reluctantly agrees.
