Episode 7 - Throne of Shadows and Hearts Full Movie

Plot of Episode 7

This episode sees the protagonist, Han Chan, finally meeting her sister Yan'er, who is under the control of the second prince Ye Gucen. However, Yan'er, traumatized by the massacre of her clan, has become mentally impaired and mute. Ye Gucen uses Yan'er's life as a threat, first explaining her condition, then subjecting Han Chan to cruel psychological torture with a red-hot charcoal, forcing her to submit. As Han Chan breaks down, Ye Gucen reveals his cold motive: regardless of Han Chan's choice, Yan'er, as the "child" of his political rival Ye Huaijin, must die, thus entangling the fate of the two sisters in the princes' struggle for succession.
