Plot of Episode 6

The episode opens with the protagonist Evelyn collapsing in her wheelchair during a medical episode, which visibly panics her ex-husband Erik, revealing his deep-seated concern for her. Through flashbacks, it's revealed that Evelyn once begged Erik to take her to the hospital with her diagnosis, only to be coldly refused. Later, at the hospital, Erik is consumed by guilt over hurting Evelyn, but his mistress Alicia brainwashes him, insisting Evelyn is faking her illness to sabotage the divorce. Under Alicia's continued manipulation, Erik's resolve begins to waver, and he starts to suspect Evelyn is deceiving him again.
