In this episode, Dale introduces his daughter, Denise, to Kevin. By sharing how highly her father speaks of him, Denise successfully motivates Kevin, leading him to finally agree to train with Dale. At the tennis court, Dale begins teaching Kevin the fundamentals of serving, and Kevin displays a natural aptitude for the sport. However, their practice is soon interrupted by Bryce, a local tennis champion, and his companions. Bryce ruthlessly mocks Kevin’s shabby attire and amateur technique, setting the stage for an imminent confrontation.
