The episode opens with Zhang Xi (Venerable), a seemingly ordinary man, revealed to be a hidden master. He casually orders a small turtle (Dragon Turtle) to "block the sky," causing the heavens and earth to tremble. This event is witnessed in terror by Imperial Tutor Zhou Changyang and His Majesty the Emperor, who initially mistake it for a new demon king's rampage, only to be shocked by the Venerable's subsequent actions. Meanwhile, the demon princess Bai Jingjing and the Demon King Jiang Taibai also witness this spectacle. Disguising his divine ability "One Thought Changes the Universe" as cooking, the Venerable uses another powerful demon lord (Vermilion Bird Demon King) as an ingredient, defeating and capturing him in a pot with cooking wine and salt. At the end, Bai Jingjing tragically discovers that the slain demon lord is her father, setting the stage for future conflict.
