This episode revolves around a comedic identity mix-up. Zhang Lin, a captain of the Demon Slaying Division, holding Bai Jingjing, the demon princess sealed into a cat, talks at length about the ferocity of the legendary Demon King Jiang Taibai, unaware that his own father, Zhang Xi, is the Venerable One, and that Jiang Taibai is present. The real Jiang Taibai, disguised as an old servant, is terrified by Zhang Lin's boasts and awkwardly tries to "disprove" them, claiming to be a vegetarian. Zhang Lin, disbelieving, escalates his bragging, claiming to have fought Jiang Taibai for three hundred rounds, creating a comical scene. Ultimately, Jiang Taibai breaks down and begs for mercy, fearing that Zhang Lin's descriptions will anger the Venerable One present.
