This episode recounts the beginning of a "swapped bride" conspiracy. The two Misses Bai were married on the same day, but their grooms were swapped. The illegitimate daughter, Bai Luting, was mistakenly married to the sickly Zhao Jingcheng. She caused a ruckus at the wedding ceremony in the Zhao family, and her arrogant and domineering behavior aroused the suspicion of Bai Luning's maternal uncle, Elder Brother Zhang, who was attending the ceremony. Meanwhile, the female general, Bai Luning, was mistakenly married into Prince Ning's mansion. Her composed and calm demeanor was starkly different from the rumored second young lady. During his interaction with Bai Luning, Prince Ning unexpectedly discovered a knife wound on her hand. This matched the identity of the Bai family's eldest young lady, who was a general, making him instantly realize that the bride might have been switched, thus laying the groundwork for future plot suspense.
