Plot of Episode 2

Yang Fengxi, the daughter of the Yang family, is kidnapped by the village bully Chen Biaozi. Just as Yang Fengxi is crying for help to Ding Changsheng outside the window, Chen Biaozi suddenly breaks in and discovers Ding Changsheng peeping. Chen Biaozi pulls Ding Changsheng down from the wall. Ding Changsheng lies that he is delivering New Year's goods, trying to get away with it. Not only does Chen Biaozi see through Ding Changsheng's lie, but he also declares his ownership over Yang Fengxi by calling her "my woman" and threatens to revoke Ding Changsheng's fish pond contract, which he relies on for survival, and transfer it to Dahuhu. In despair as his livelihood is threatened, Ding Changsheng gets into a fierce conflict with Chen Biaozi.
